Visitations, Decorations, and Monument Bases
Cemeteries are sacredly devoted to the burial of the dead. Visitors are permitted from dawn to dusk. All vehicles are to be parked on the drives provided.
Any decorations, such as natural or artificial wreath or arrangements will be permitted. The planting of flowers, potted plants, or bushes is prohibited. No stones, bark, or grave markers are permitted. Unseasonable flowers and faded flowers will be removed at the discretion of the Trustees. No trinkets are permitted.
Growing season is March 15 - November 15
Winter season is November 15 - March 15
Anyone wanting to keep decorations on longer than time must either use a permanent vase on the marker base, or use a saddle wreath. All winter decorations will be removed beginning March 15 during Spring cleaning.
Monument Bases
All monument bases will be installed by township personnel as weather permits after the ground has settled.
Grass Care
Your assistance in helping to keep Grandview Cemetery beautiful at all times is greatly appreciated.
Regular care is included in the purchase price of your lot. This includes such services as scheduled grass mowing, trimming of trees, seeding and fertilizing, and road maintenance.
The cutting and trimming of grass is one of the largest- and most costly maintenance activities of our cemeteries. That is why it is necessary to establish rules and regulations to secure the proper mode of burials and decorations to preserve the beauty of the cemetery
